FOUR STEPS.

Work in thin layers and make adjustments gradually. The goal is a prepared surface—not a thick coat of mud.

Stir
Open the jar and stir until the texture is even. A small surface water layer after transit can be normal.

Apply thin
Wear gloves. Start with a small amount and spread a light, even layer over the target leather surface.

Work it in
Use the brush in controlled circles. Build gradually instead of applying one heavy coat.
04
Wipe & finish
Let the surface settle, then wipe away excess material with the towel. Repeat only if more prep is needed.

Can I use it on a brand-new football?
Yes. The process is designed to reduce slick factory shine and create a more natural, practice-ready matte feel. Always follow the ball maker's care instructions.
What if the mud separates or feels dry?
Stir before every use. If it feels too dry, add only a few drops of clean water at a time and mix again. Do not pour conditioner, wax, or other liquids into the jar.
Will it change the color of the leather?
It can darken leather as part of the prep effect. White or light-colored leather may discolor permanently, so test a small hidden area first and do not use it if keeping the original color is important.
Can it be used for an official game?
The product is intended for practice and equipment preparation. Rules vary, so check your league, school, team, or event requirements before official game use.
